Thanks to all who joined us on 11/21 at Stop N Shop East Meadow. We have collected 604 lbs of non perishable food, 11 turkeys, and 4 full canisters of money for Island Harvest. 
 
It was beautiful weather and we exceeded our previous lofty totals. We collected 802 pounds of donated food and $240.00 in cash for Island Harvest of L.I. There were 12 Mineola brothers present and we were joined by 13 Boy Scouts from Troop #362. The boy scouts helped im-mensely and I must give a special shout out to Christopher Faklis , son of Brother Lee Faklis. Christopher demonstrated excellent leadership and organizational skills.

All Present Are Brothers

I would like to start with another uplifting story. Brother Dominic Oreste and I visited Wawayanda Lodge #34 in Warwick on Friday November 6. We met with Brothers Tom Buchanan and Peter Brawley who introduced us to their lodge brothers and showed us around their beautiful and historical lodge building. It was so nice to see how other lodge’s run their meetings. A good time was had by all and there were lots of laughs. It is truly amazing that brothers from the Hudson Valley and brothers from Long Island can become such good friends. We all look to grow this friendship and we all plan future visits. In the spirit of friendship love and truth this is what Odd Fellowship is all about!!! I can’t wait to visit other lodges and strongly suggest that some of you guys join Brother Dominic and I and soak in the experience.
